As I stated in our post Back In The Swing Of Things, we were in Missouri to do a great many personal administrative things like taxes, drivers licenses, new vehicle, etc. One thing we did, that had nothing to do with our annual personal admin tasks was to have a launch party.
What is a launch party you may wonder? Well, any of you who have read our About page will know that our Eldest Nomad Son, Noah, has wanted to be a writer since he was the age of 9. He wrote his first novel at 14. Noah began working with our publisher at 16 and he published his novel, Legend Land, by the age of 17.
As part of our process to get the book published, Noah created a Kickstarter campaign to help fund some of the development and publishing expenses. One of the rewards was to attend the author’s launch party.
So, we gathered the supporters, executives from our publishing company and family to celebrate the official launch of Noah’s professional career as a writer as well as the official launch of his first novel, Legend Land. Mama Nomad and I are, of course, proud of our Eldest Nomad Son. And, he picked a career that he can do from anywhere. A true Nomad and we did not even have to talk him into it. Safe Travels.
