The Nomads have grown to have an affinity for Pub food; especially if it has an Irish, Scottish and English menu. Within days we happened upon an Irish Pub in Hendersonville, North Carolina. It is called Hannah Flanagan’s.
The outside intrigued us and walking in the door pulled us further in. We had never visited before but we felt like long time customers. And we enjoyed all of the Irish Pub decor within the establishment.
Quality of Food – 5
We ordered loaded potatoes for appetizers. They were delicious and they did not skimp on the toppings. For the main course, the boys ordered Shepherd’s Pie, Fish and Chips and a Smoked Turkey sandwich. Mama Nomad ordered Corned Beef and Cabbage. And I ordered Bangers and Mash. Let me tell you, I think I have found a new favorite Pub dish. The flavor of the food was great all around.
Service – 5
The appetizers came quickly. The waters were continually filled. Our food was served with speed and grace. And our table was cleared regularly. Stacie, our server, was top-notch and we had zero complaints.
Price – 5
Our food portions were rather hefty. We even took some home because we could not finish it. The average entrée price was about $11. For the taste and portion size of the food, the price was well worth it.
Overall Value – 5
The atmosphere was fun and inviting. The service was fantastic. The food was awesome and the pricing was reasonable. This easily hit a 5 out of 5 for us. We would definitely recommend a visit to this establishment when you are in the Hendersonville, North Carolina area.
