Hey everyone! This is Trevor, the youngest Nomad son, here writing my first post for our website. Last Sunday, 8/23/15, we went to a mountain coaster at Camelback Mountain Resort to have the time of our lives.
When we first decided to go somewhere, Mama Nomad said it was a surprise! So we had no idea what we were doing. Once we got there, all the Nomads’ minds were blown! They had zip lining, a mountain coaster, climbing around and tons more.
Once we waited in line for a while, it was our turn to go on the mountain coaster. Mama Nomad went first, then I went, followed by Ethan, Noah, and lastly Daddy Nomad. When Mama Nomad sat in the blue cart, she looked pretty scared; but she said “I am going to act like the brakes aren’t even there.”
The rest of us wanted to go fast and zoom around the corners, without brakes. Well, she did. She zoomed so fast I never saw her till the end, where she was waiting for me. When Ethan came around the corner, he was zooming and slowed down massively. I watched Noah come around the corner and he looked like he just had the time of his life! Ethan turned that corner and came zooming in as did Daddy Nomad.
We all really enjoyed our time at the Camelback Mountain Resort, riding the 4,500 foot long coaster of fun! When we got back in the car, we just drank water and ate our apples and celery.
Then we decided to do one more stop before heading home; that stop was the Big Pocono State Park. It looks over New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. It was beautiful, looking at big mountains in the distance. The whole day was just fantastic!
Awesome, thanks for sharing Trevor!
He says “Thank you Mrs. Loree!”
