We’ve spent this week watching the George Washington mini series that was made in 1984. It’s been quite a bit of fun for all 5 of us, and has led to fun inquiries, as well as much discussion. Movies from the 80’s, especially those made for television, can be a hit or miss with the Nomad kiddos. This one has been a hit. Each evening after dinner we watch 1 hour of it, and we’ll finish it up tonight. Which was perfect timing to end on George Washington’s birthday. In honor of his birthday, we made a chocolate cherry cake to enjoy today, too. We can’t wait to venture over to Mount Vernon once the snow has melted away, and the temperatures are a bit warmer.
