Halloween 2015

PA310015It is Halloween again, one of the favorite holidays of the Nomad Boys. For Halloween 2015, the whole family went trick or treating together through the streets of Old Lyme, Connecticut. Trevor was an author, Ethan was Skully and Noah was Eggs from Box Trolls.

Old Lyme is a small town in Connecticut. It is actually one of the types of neighborhoods that you would see kids trick or treating in on TV. The library, businesses and homes opened their doors to little goblins, ghouls and ghosts of all shapes and sizes.

The air in the area was brisk with the smell of firewood lingering. Some houses had parties going on in their homes or on their decks. Walking around just made you feel safe and able to enjoy the night. It was reminiscent of days when I was a kid. Heck, many of the kids even used pillowcases for their candy.

We walked for a few miles on Halloween Night, got a few pounds of candy and really enjoyed ourselves. Some houses went all out with sound effects, big movies screens and decorations of all types. It was a great night and a fond one to look back upon. Safe Travels.
