Finally Settled

12 Gallon ContainerWe arrived at Tuscany Preserve on Monday, September 1, 2014. We pulled in with Ebony (our trusty SUV), our 5×8 cargo trailer and forty-two 12 gallon containers. We carried our necessities within these bins: clothing, electronics, gaming systems, office supplies, kitchen items, bathroom, linens, outdoor stuff, tools, garage related items and other miscellaneous things.

Printer StandThis is the first leg of our Nomadic Journey and I think we did pretty good. Moved in. Unpacked what was needed. Left what we did not need at this location in the containers. Filled the fridge. And we are fully functional in less than 5 days. We actually use the 12 gallon containers as supplemental furniture pieces, a make shift night table or printer stand. Making efficient usage of the resources we have available. All part of Living Nomad Style.

I am looking forward to our next stop in a few months and seeing if we can whittle that setup time down from 4 days to 3 or less. We’ll see. Stay tuned.
